Introduction:

The hydrorefining catalysts are mixtures consisting of three kinds of components such as mtals as the main components, the promoters and the carrier. At present there are many varieties of hydrorefining catalysts such as: Alumina supported cobalt molybdate(Co-MO-γ-Al2O3), Alumina supported nickel molybdate(Ni-Mo-γ-Al2O3), Alumina supported nickel-cobalt-molybdate(Mo-Co-Ni-γ-Al2O3), Alumina-silica supported nickel molybdate(Ni-Mo-γ-Al2O3-SiO2), Ni-W series catalyst etc.

Functions:

Developed on the basis of nickle catalyst , the catalyst CoMo catalyst will have an high efficient and apparent functions on removing the impurities and heavy metals . It will be put on the middle between of the auxiliary catalyst hydrorefining nickle catalyst and hydrocracking catalyst.

Its function principle is same like the hydrorefining nickle catalyst . But their difference is that we should add more activated components on the surface of the support carrier,such as nickel , molybdenum and manganese etc.The result is that it can remove all the foreign-metal  and solid impurities in the oil, make the easy coking substance to moderate hydrogenation to prevent the major catalyst from poisoning and coking.
